Hello.

Here is a bit of pimping for a different community that isn't Lee & Herring related but s funny man related.

If you like Simon Pegg (or dont but want to look like you do so that you can impress him, his friends, his family, his fans or just random people on the street you think might like him) then you should join this community by clicking on this link.

In an attempt to sway you into doing this, here is a picture of Simon Pegg's face:

Ok, so maybe that's a little bit more than his face.

But join anyway.

1:32 am - TMWRNJ at UKNova

molari
Apologies if this is already widely known, but at the moment at UKNova there are torrents of both series of TMWRNJ in DVD ready format i.e. burn directly to DVD and watch on regular DVD player.

As far as I know this is the first time the entire run of TMWRNJ with decent quality sound and picture has been put together, complete with chapters, menus, etc., and been made readily available. This is the closest to an official release of TMWRNJ which is going to happen, so get on over and register.

12:37 pm - Banter

richdudley
Heads up people!

"Banter", in which comedic guests compile their top threes in various bizarre categories, starts tomorrow on Radio 4 at 18:30.

Richard herring is a regular guest on this new show. He's joined this week by Russell Howard, Will Smith and Jenny Eclair. Russell is an outstanding talent.

Nice to see Rich doing more radio stuff though! :)

I am no longer chico_mi_tipo and haven't been for a while, oppsie.

Secondly, and more importantly, can anyone tell me what their feelings are for the Jerry Springer opera. Me and pirateiain have tickets to go see it in April, and I am just a tad worried that it is going to be awful, am I wrong. Please tell me I am wrong...

See you later eggs.

I don't think that there is going to be any better final say on the matter than this:

Playwright Patrick Marber.    Lee & Herring.

In your FACE! Marber.

11:54 am - Review

chico_mi_tipo

On this cut is my review on Mr Lees gig in manchester a few months ago. Sorry for it late-ness. I am busy with exams and such.

I am also having problems getting my Herring interview onto another online computer but I will do my best.

I thought the review is  quite subjective and at times maybe bias as I was writing as a critic, not a fan. Although we all know we are plinny mad. But yes. I shal stop now.

9:25 am - Speaking sense...

richdudley
It's not often you read something and think "Finally, someone who speaks sense and shines like a beacon in this world of stupidity". However, I'm pleased to say I've just read something that encapsulates just that. I'm also proud to say that it was written by Richard Herring.

Take a time out and read every word of this most sensible review to have graced our media in a very long time.

It warmed my heart to know there's someone out there who feels the same way. :)
